The beautiful surroundings of the Spitsbergen Archipelago is a paradise for all, divers, adventurers, naturalists and photographers with its amazing array of colours and moods and diverse wildlife. The opportunity to be in the company of Walrus hauling out on an ice floe,
watching whales, seals and Polar Bears, and cruise around in our zodiacs between brilliant white icebergs and ice floes will amaze you with awe. Indeed, for all divers and non-divers, participating in the shore excursions and Zodiac cruises, will complete your Polar experience.

The ship
Accommodation and on-board-life is cosy and comfortable and most cabins have private facilities. The public areas include a dining room which also acts as lecture room, a bar with reference books, a doctors cabin, dive room and a sauna.

Day 1 Embarkation Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen

Day 2 Heading north along the west coast, Krossfjorden, Ny Ålesund, the world’s most northerly settlement.

Day 3 Further north to Moffen Island on where Walrus haul out, Liefdefjorden with the impressive Monaco glacier, and Andøya.

Day 4 North and the North East side of the Spitsbergen archipelago we will find good dive sites in the Hornsund, Tusenøyane and Seven Islands with basaltic blocks and excellent wall dives in the fjords.

Day 5 Hinlopen Strait (if the pack-ice allows us), Lomfjordshalvøya and Augustabukta on the island of Nordaustlandet, the most northerly of the major Spitsbergen islands.

Day 6 Raudfjord on the north coast of West Spitsbergen, and Hamiltonbutka with lots of critters and benthic life and good wall diving.

Day 7 Nothern tip of Prins Karls Forland near Fuglehuken, or we sail south to the mouth of Isfjorden.

Day 8 Return to Longyearbyen and disembark for the transfer to the airport and the flight to Oslo and home.

Rates include:

• Full board and shipboard accommodation in your choice of cabin occupancy and category;
• All dives or shore landings and excursions by Zodiac according to the daily onboard program;
· Dive compressor, tanks, weights and belts (you need to bring your own personal dive gear);
• Leadership throughout the voyage by our experienced Expedition Leader and Polar Dive Master;
• All miscellaneous service taxes and port charges throughout the program;

Rates do not include:

Your personal dive equipment · Airfare & Airport tax and arrival/departure taxes · The customary gratuity to the ship‘s crew · Excess baggage · Pre-and post voyage packages with air, hotel are available upon request.

Notes:

Rates are per person based on twin occupancy. Single cabins are available at 1,7 rate. All cabins are smoke-free. Emergency evacuation insurance and dive insurance is mandatory.
